If you’re like me, you battle with dark circles year-round. They tend to be worse when I’m tired or under stress, and no matter what I do, they seem to be a permanent part of my face. But before we get into the tips for covering them up, let’s first take a look at why they form in the first place.<\/p>\n
There are a few different reasons people might get dark circles under their eyes. It could be hereditary, it could be caused by allergies or sinus problems, or it could simply be from fatigue or lack of sleep. Whatever the cause, dark circles can make you look tired and older than you are, so it’s important to find ways to cover them.<\/p>\n
If you’re not getting enough shut-eye, it shows on your face. Dark circles can be a sign that you’re not getting the 7-8 hours of sleep per night that experts recommend. Also, when you don’t get enough sleep, blood can pool in the vessels under your eyes, making them appear darker.<\/p>\n
